20-yr-old girl killed, man injured in another police shooting in Lagos


Nigerians have reacted to the alleged killing by Police operatives from the Trinity Police Station, Ajegunle, Lagos, of a 20-year-old lady identified as Ada Ifeanyi; and the injuring of Emmanuel Akomafuwa suspected to be her beau.

The Lagos State Police Command gave Ada’s age as 20, and that of Emmanuel as 32.

The Command also identified the killer policemen as: Inspector Adamu Usman, Sergeant Adeyeye Adeoye, Sergeant Kashim Tijani, Sergeant Lucky Akigbe, Sergeant Paul Adeoye, and inspector Dania Ojo.

Police said the incident happened on Saturday morning at about 7am.

It also gave residential addresses of the victims as, No. 4B, Amusa Lane, Off Ojo Road Ajegunle (for Ada Ifeanyi); and Emmanuel Akomafuwa as No. 52, Babatunde Street, Olodi Apapa, at Akpiri Street, Olodi Apapa, both in Lagos State.
