The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced that the primary election for Ekiti state gubernatorial poll would take place on January 27, 2022, while that of Osun state would take place on March 10, 2022.
This was disclosed by the National Organising Secretary of APGA, Ifeanyi Mbaeri in a provisional timetable of activities released on Sunday, in Abuja.
He stated that the screening of prospective governorship aspirants for the Ekiti governorship would be carried out at the APGA National Secretariat, Abuja, on January 22, 2022.
He noted that the resolution of appeals/disputes arising from the exercise would be done on January 28.
Mbaeri also revealed that the sale and return of forms for the Osun State primaries to the APGA National Secretariat in Abuja would be between January 20 and February 20, 2022.
He further revealed that the nomination form is fixed at N10 million, while the expression of interest form is fixed at N2 million.
Mbaeri added that women and People Living With Disabilities (PLWD) would pay half of the sums fixed for each position.
