
The first of the Big Three networks’ major music awards held yearly, Grammy Awards has announced a new date for the 2022 award ceremony on Instagram.
It was previously scheduled to hold on the 31st of January 2022, at the Los Angeles Convention Centre but due to the Omicron Variant of COVID-19, it was rescheduled to hold at the MGM Grand Garden Centre in Las Vegas on the 3rd of April 2022.
The event, scheduled to begin at 8:00 pm, would also be shown live on the CBS television network ET/5:00 pm
An award-winning comedian South African, Trevor Noah, will return as the host of the 2022 Grammys.
Nigerian superstar, Wizkid was nominated in the category of ‘Best Global Music Album’ for his Made In Lagos record, Made Kuti and his father, Femi Kuti, were also nominated in the same category for their joint project, ‘legacy+’
