The Kwara state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday announced a new dates for its primary elections.
According to the statement issued by the Kwara state PDP organizing secretary, Hajia Bilkisu Oniyangi, the changes became necessary following similar adjustments in dates by its national working committee (NWC).
Following the adjustments, House of Assembly primary will now hold on Saturday, May 21 while that of House of Representatives are billed to hold on Sunday, May 22.
The statement said that primary for those running for senate seat will hold on Monday, May 23.
It stated that primary to determine the party’s flag bearer for governorship seat has now been scheduled to Thursday, May 26.
