Mohammed Rabiu Wada, a 70-year-old man from Niger Republic, who is alleged to be a supplier of drugs to bandits have been apprehended by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Niger State.
This was disclosed yesterday in Abuja by Femi Babafemi, the Director, Media & Advocacy, NDLEA headquarters, Abuja.
The statement by Babafemi also revealed the suspect was arrested on Thursday with 10 pallets of drugs in Jebba, Niger state.
It was reported that he was on his way back to Niger Republic through North West where he sells drugs to bandits when he was nabbed in Jebba.
Aloye Isaac, the Niger State Commander of the NDLEA said his arrest is a confirmation of the connection between drug abuse and insecurity in the country.
