The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science in line with the much anticipated Oscars Award Ceremony scheduled for April 25, has released a letter with the necessary procedures for the forthcoming event.
The letter stated that there will be no room for zoom live for nominees who cannot attend the event.
Part of the rules or guidelines in the letter is an appeal for all nominees to attend the event in person.
The Academy has promised a safe evening and convenient stay during the event, and for those who cannot attend the event, the Academy will accept the Oscar on their behalf. The ceremony will be held at the Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre.
TOS News gathered that the nominees and guests for the event will be classified as essential workers to enable them attend the event in Los Angeles.
The guests and nominees are expected to arrive in the United States from April 17 to April 20.
