Aero Contractors, Nigeria’s oldest airline, has concluded arrangements to begin flights from Abuja to Bauchi four times in a week as part of its route expansion programme. Dates will soon be announced for Maiduguri, Borno and Calabar flights, according to the airline.
Capt. Abdullahi Mahmood, Managing Director of the airline revealed that the Abuja-Bauchi flights, which would be operated every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday will depart Abuja at 09:10 am and arrive Bauchi at 10:10am.
The return leg will then depart Bauchi at 10:40am, and arrive in Abuja at 11:40 on weekdays, while it will depart Abuja for Bauchi at 09:50am on Sunday with the return flight from Bauchi at 11:20 am. Passengers from Lagos to Bauchi via Abuja will be available using the 06:45am flight out of Lagos.
These routes are expected to add a breath of fresh air to Aero contractors’ schedule and align with the plan of connecting cities as a plan for expansion.
