Private Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has announced that it will resume flight operations from Lagos to Johannesburg, South Africa, from the 17th of October, 2021.
This was disclosed on Thursday by Stanley Olisa, the airline’s spokesperson.
He said the Lagos-Johannesburg service would operate twice a week- Thursdays and Sundays-with the luxury wide-body Boeing 777.
Olisa said “We are happy to announce to our teeming customers the resumption of our Johannesburg service, which will be operated in strict compliance with established COVID-19 protocols.”
The representative urged the public to obey all laid down guidelines for international flights.
He stated that Johannesburg flights can now be booked on the airline’s website: flyairpeace.com, or its mobile app.
Olisa reiterated the airline’s commitment in observing the highest standards of safety.
Air Peace, in June, suspended flights on the Lagos-Johannesburg route in line with the federal government’s travel restriction.
Nigeria had added South Africa to its restriction list due to the surge in the country’s COVID-19 cases.
