A former Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Prince Paul Adelabu, is dead.
Prince Paul who had planned to celebrate his birthday on Sunday, 1st August passed away on Thursday.
He served as Special Assistant to Ajimobi on Disability Affairs and served as Principal to Rehabilitation Centre for people with disabilities in Moniya, Ibadan.
The deceased was a social worker and one of the prominent members of Nigeria Association of Social Workers (NASoW), Oyo State chapter.
He was one of the advocates championing better welfare for persons with disabilities in the country.
Adelabu was the founder and Pioneer President of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD), the umbrella body of persons with disabilities in the country. Until his death, he was the chairman, Board of Trustees of the association.
