Controversial musician, Portable has made a u-turn on his initial claim that he founded the ‘Ajah Boys’ and ‘One Million Boys’ cult groups, claiming that he was referring to his one million fans on Instagram.
He made the clarification via his Instagram page after the Inspector-general of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba had ordered the commissioner of police in Lagos state, Abiodun Alabi to probe Portable’s claim.
He wrote, “And what I meant by 1 million boys is meant 1million followers. Abeg ooo, I don’t know who be One Million Boys ooo People are threatening my life ooo you should all look into this.
The singer also claimed that he never knew he would be campaigning for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Gboyega Oyetola during the Osun governorship election noting that he was told he would be performing at a show.
He added that he is a fan of both Oyetola and Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who won the election.
“This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC it was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money,” he said.
Years back, the ‘One Million Boys’ cult group was notorious for terrorizing residents in some parts of Lagos state.
