President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday reportedly left the Presidential Villa, Abuja to the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport where he will proceed on a journey to Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital.
TOS NEWS. gathered that the President is visiting Maiduguri to commission multiple projects initiated and completed by the Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum.
Recall that the Borno State Governor Zulum in a recent report noted that President Buhari has greatly supported Borno State and made sacrifices so that the people can live in peace, harmony, and progress.
According to Zulum, Buhari had spent more than $50m to generate stable and sustainable power and energy for the people of Borno State.
Meanwhile, as the President is en route to Maiduguri, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo is currently presiding over an Extraordinary Federal Executive Council meeting at the Council Chambers.
The president’s fight left the Aso Rock premises at exactly 10:04 am on Thursday.
