A Niger-Delta group, Vanguards of Nigeria’s Democracy, on Saturday decried alleged moves by the current administration of President Buhari to “investigate, malign and imprison” ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan on trumped-up charges.
The group alleged that the President and his team as well as his party, APC, were clearly moving against the interest of the Niger-Delta people, alleging that Buhari was devising ways to deal with the region and itspeople unjustly.
The group further alleged that the ongoing rift between former Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole over Excess Crude Account were paryt of the strategies by the current government to rope President Goodluck Jonathan in.
