
The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Uche Secondus, has called on the presidency and the Nigerian Army to stay clear the December 5th bye election that will take place in Bayelsa State.
The party chairman was speaking to party faithfuls as a PDP rally in Peace Park, Yenagoa to garner support for the party’s candidate.
While giving his speech at the rally, Secondus said
“‘We offer one advice to the commander in chief, please sir and our high level ranking chiefs, please you can see the country falling, Please don’t make it worse because if you deny the people their votes, you can make it worse.
He also went ahead to plead with the electoral body, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to remain non partisan throughout the electioneering process while urging them to allow the votes of the people to count.
Secondus said that if the people’s vote doesn’t count in the elections, the evil days is just being postponed.
