Chadwick Boseman who lost his life in August 2020 after battling colon cancer for years has been awarded with a Screen Actors Guild for an outstanding performance in a film.
Chadwick won the award as the leading man for his role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.
Chadwick’s wife, Taylor Simone accepted the award on his behalf at the event which took place on Sunday.
While receiving the award she delivered an emotional speech and gave a quote from her late husband.
Co-star in the movie, Viola Davis was also awarded for an amazing performance by a female actor in a leading role.
