Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce has announced Mrs Ayomide Olajide as its new Director-General. She has served as the Director of Programme and Membership where she led the Programmes and Membership teams to deliver the mandate of expanding the Chamber’s membership network.
Mrs Olajide has also won the Presidential Award as Most Supportive Secretariat Staff, the first of its kind in the history of the Chamber.
After serving as the Acting Director-General for almost a year, she was subsequently appointed as the Director-General of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce in January 2021.
Before this role, Ayomide has worked with Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ) as Programme Manager.
Ayomide bagged a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Warwick and a Bachelor’s degree from Babcock University in International Law and Diplomacy. She also has attended several courses on Supporting Public Advocacy for Regional Competitiveness in Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda.
