Nigeria on Monday reported two deaths and 213 new cases from the novel coronavirus infections.
According to the NCDC in an update on its Facebook page early Monday morning, the 213 new cases were reported across 12 states of the federation.
With the 213 new cases, Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of the coronavirus infection now stand at 171,324 cases while the death toll now stands at 2,134.
Of the 213 cases reported Monday night, Nigeria’s economic nerve centre Lagos, reported 157 cases, and Rivers State with 20 cases.
Plateau state reported 12 cases while Oyo State and Enugu reported six cases each.
While Gombe State reported three cases, Bauchi, Imo and Kaduna reported two cases each. Edo, Ekiti and Ogun reported one each.
The agency also revealed that a total of 164,798 persons infected with the virus have been discharged.
