
Nigeria on Thursday recorded 182 new cases of coronavirus across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) published the update on its official website on Friday morning.
The breakdown of the newly confirmed cases showed that Taraba State topped the chart with 38 cases for 27th October 2021, followed by Lagos State with 27, while Zamfara State recorded 25.
Benue State reported 21 cases, followed by Gombe State with 13 cases.
Kaduna State and Plateau State followed with 12 cases each, Jigawa State with 5 cases, Kano State and Rivers state with 3 each.
Abia State recorded 2 cases for 27th October 2021; Edo State recorded 2 cases each while Bauchi and Bayelsa State recorded one case each.
The agency reported that the total number of cases stand at 211,678, death toll stands at 2,892 deaths with 202,885 discharged.
