The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday confirmed that Nigeria recorded 84 fresh cases of the coronavirus across 5 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The FCT topped the latest infection chart released by the NCDC with 62 cases on Thursday morning.
This comes 24 hours after the health agency reported that 60 Ukraine returnees tested positive to Covid-19 at the FCT.
Without fatalities, Nigeria’s infection toll now stands at 254,861 while the death toll stands at 3,142.
With no backlog of discharges reported, the NCDC noted that a total of 249,307 people have now been discharged nationwide.
Apart from FCT, Yobe State reported 15 cases.
Bayelsa State reported three infections; Abia State, two, while Kaduna and Kano reported a single case each.
