The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said the country recorded no fatality with 159 fresh cases across 13 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from the coronavirus pandemic.
The NCDC disclosed this on Tuesday in an update on its official website.
The NCDC said the total number of infections in the country is currently at 211,330, while 202,803 people have been successfully treated and discharged.
The FCT and Lagos State reported 28 cases each, followed by Nasarawa which reported a backlog of 25 cases for October 24.
Plateau state reported 24 cases; Kwara State reported 22 cases while Delta State reported a backlog of eight cases for October 25 and 26.
Kano State reported eight cases, followed by Rivers State with seven cases. Edo, Bauchi and Bayelsa States reported two cases each, while Kaduna, Sokoto and Taraba States reported a single case each.
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed 2,884 lives nationwide.
