Debt Management Office has blacklisted Osun State. The state can not borrow a dime for another ten years.
According to Senior Special Assistant to Governor of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola on Education, Jamiu Baatunde who posted on his facebook page on Saturday, February 27, said Osun can not borrow a dime for another ten years.
“Debt management office has blacklisted Osun.The state can not borrow a dime for another ten years. Gbese yii po! Lori Kinni,” he wrote.
Reports gathered from feelers by TOS correspondent indicated that, it was as a result of the rift between the current Governor of Osun, Mr. Oyetola and former helmsman of Osun, Mr. Rauf Aregbsola.
However, Barrister Kunle Oyatomi, Director of Publicity, Research and Strategy of the APC in Osun State has debunked the claim in an interview.
