A broadcast professional, Adeniyi Taiwo Kunnu has been appointed by the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu as the Spokesman of his 2023 Campaign Organisation.
Kunnu who holds both Bachelors and Master of Arts Degrees in Literature-in-English from Lagos Sate University, Ojo, and the University of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos, is currently a PhD student of Literature-in-English at the University of Abuja.
He brings to the job a rich experience as a versatile communicator following long years of practice in the broadcast industry and lecturing in the academia.
He has undergone several corporate professional development courses including Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Training (February 2016); BBC SCEEP Media Action Training (June 2014); Certificate in Project Management (July 2013); Certificate in Basic Presentation (September 2010) and Certificate in Employability Skills (July 2008), among others.
Kunnu has also held professional positions in both public and private sector including Lecturer, Department of English and Literature, Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo (2022); Researcher, Analyst, Training and Development Officer at Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, Ikoyi, Lagos (2021 till date); Head of Operations at IKD 106.1 FM, Ikorodu, Lagos (2020 – 2021); Head, News and Programmes, Roots TV, Abuja (July –September 2019) and Programmes Producer & Presenter, Nigeria Info, 99.3, Victoria Island, Lagos (August 2018 – June 2019).
