The Federal Government, on Sunday, announced the postponement of the Nigeria at 60 Jubilee Special Award ceremony, which was to take place on the 3rd of September.
The Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo, disclosed this in a statement released by his Special Assistant on Media, Ifedayo Sayo in Abuja.
The Minister said the award ceremony was planned as part of jubilee celebrations of the country’s Independence to celebrate 60 notable Nigerians that have contributed largely to the nation’s growth.
Adebayo, while apologizing for any inconvenience the change might have caused stakeholders and Nigerians, however revealed that a new date would be announced in due course.
The special award ceremony was organised by the Ownership Subcommittee of the Nigeria @60 Committee in conjunction with`Say It Loud Limited”, a media and digital communication firm.
