Former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has expressed excitement and satisfaction over the state-of-the-art studio of TOS Television Network during his visit on Monday, 12th April, 2021.
The former president of Nigeria who visited the Television network which is barely one-year old in its headquarters in the nation’s capital city, Abuja was given a warm reception by the Chief Executive Officer, Osasu Igbinedion, of the Television network which prides itself as a Digital-First Pan African News Network.
In the warm welcome, Dr. Jonathan was glad to meet with the management and staff of the organization and was elated with the content and programmes of the News Network which are meant to tell African story in an informative, educative and entertaining manner that would position the continent for growth and prosperity.
Expressing his love for youth and creativity, the Former Nigerian President showed interest in the programmes of the organisation as explained and highlighted by the Programmes Lead of the organization, Ms. Adesuwa Osuyi.
Sitting in the live studios of the Television Network, Dr. Jonathan showed his willingness to be available for shows in the organization.
Chief Osasu Igbinedion, Chief Executive Officer of the Television Network expressed her excitement on the visit of the Former President, noting that he shared relevant ideas and advice on how to embark on the journey.
Speaking to journalists present at the visit, Chief Ms. Osasu Igbinedion said:
“We have set out to be a Digital First Pan-African Network where we will restore the pride of Africa by giving her a voice. What we do is to amplify the good stories of Africa as well as men and women who are innovators and are doing amazingly well in technology, politics & development across the nation. We tell the stories to the rest of the world.”
According to Chief Ms. Igbinedion, TOS TV Network is in the business of being a story teller for the continent of Africa.
