Four gunmen who attacked the Omuma Divisional Police Headquarters in the Oru East Local Government Area of Imo state on Sunday morning were killed.
Omuma is the home town of the governor of the state, Hope Uzodinma.
The police disclose that the gunmen were suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
TOS NEWS gathered that the attackers engaged security personnel in a gun duel on arrival at the Omuma Divisional Police Headquarters.
This came after gunmen razed the Umuguma divisional police headquarters in Owerri West council of the state, killing two police constabularies who were on duty on Saturday.
