Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva has reiterated Federal Government’s commitment to giving jobs to millions of young Nigerians.
He made this statement at the opening ceremony of the National Gas Expansion Programme consultative forum as he assured that nothing less than one hundred million Nigerians will be out of poverty through the implementation of National Gas Expansion Programme.
The minister stated that the Buhari’s administration increased its commitment to industrialising Nigeria through gas utilisation as it declared 2021 to 2030 ‘Decade of Gas’.
The minister praised Imo State governor, Hope Uzodimma, who he said played a vital role in the NGEP project.
Uzodimma who was represented by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Paul Emeziem, said the state would continue to join hands with the Federal Government in providing more jobs to the youths of the country.
