The Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has registered his displeasure over some unnamed individuals who are making attempts to pull down the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari instead of supporting him and making things better for Nigeria. He also vowed to contest presidential election in 2023.
He made the pledged while receiving stakeholders from Kebbi and Sokoto states at the Kogi State Government Lodge, Abuja, on Sunday.
The governor said that he would answer their call on him to contest the 2023 presidential election.
The governor who, at the age of 39 was declared winner of the 2015 Kogi gubernatorial election after he was chosen on the platform of the All Progressives Congress as the replacement for the late Abubakar Audu who originally won the election but died before the result was declared has consistently kicked against gerontocracy in Nigerian polity.
