Veteran Fuji musician, Isiaka Iyanda Abiodun Sawaba popularly known as Easy Sawaba has passed away.
He was 71.
Lovers of Fuji music on Wednesday woke up to the shocking news of the death of one of the prominent players.
He was seen in Lagos in March 2022 at the first colloquium of late Sikiru Ayinde Barrister at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja GRA.
The veteran Fuji musician had a major career in the Fuji music industry in the 1970s and 1980s.
His albums include Suru, Igbo Odaju, Pata Olokun, Ayetoto, Oroseniwo among others.
His last known album ‘correction’ was released in 2018.
