Kelechi Iheanacho is set to make his 100th Premier League appearance for Leicester City when they face Norwich City on Saturday.
The Nigeria international has bagged four goals in four matches in all competitions and set up three goals so far in this campaign.
Iheanacho has made 53 appearances scoring six goals for the Foxes since joined from Manchester City in 2017. Prior to his arrival at the King Power stadium, the 23-year-old scored 12 times in the Premier League in 46 appearances (12 starts) for the Citizens.
On Saturday it will be his 38th win in English top-flight division since he made his debut during the 2015/2016 season.
He made his EPL debut as an 18-year-old in a 2-0 home win over Watford with his first goal coming against Crystal Palace.
Delighted to be involved in both the Premier League and Carabao Cup so far this season, Iheanacho revealed he is keen to make an impact for City this campaign.
“I think every player tries to make an impact, from the goalkeeper to defence, midfield through to attack,”
“Everybody wants to ensure what they do has an impact in the game.
“That’s why we’re such a good team, because even if you come off the bench you need to make sure that you have the same desire to make an impact as everybody already on the field.”
“For me, as I’ve said, I just want to make sure that I’m focused.
The Foxes are set to contest their fourth of eight fixtures during the month of December, and Iheanacho believes it is a crucial period for everyone.
He added, “December is a big month for every team in the Premier League. I think that a lot of players enjoy it, because there are more games. I enjoy it a lot.
“But it’s also a time when you need to take care of yourself more than ever. There are so many games, so it’s important that you recover well and look after yourself.
“It’s so cold too! You need to keep warm and warm-up well to avoid injury.”
