Nigerian professional footballer and Leicester City’s striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has won the English Premier League player of the month for March 2021.
He becomes the fourth Nigerian player to win the monthly award and the first Leicester City’s player to win since Jamie Vardy’s win in 2019.
The player maintained an outstanding performance in the month of March, scoring five goals in three Premier League matches.
Former Super Eagles Captain, Jay Jay Okocha, Odion Ighalo, and Osaze Odemwingie have all won the English Premier League player award in the past.
