Kaduna residents have been asked not to take laws into their hands by engaging in reprisal attacks, this is as the incessant killings of innocent residents by unknown gunmen has continued unabated in the state for the past few months.
According to the Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan in a statement issued on Sunday the appeal was given by the acting Governor of the State, Hadiza Balarabe following the killing of three persons in Zango Kataf Local Government Area of the state.
Kaduna State has been hit by bloodletting and reprisals in the past few months with security operatives unable to curb the slide.
Aruwan said the three persons were reported to have been killed in an attack by unidentified persons who stormed Ribok, Tsoriyang and Kankada general area of Zangon Kataf LGA.
“The reprisal targeted the residence of one person where three residents were killed,” he said.
He added that four residents were injured while one car, three houses and eight huts were destroyed.
