
Nollywood Actor, Kunle Remi, has expressed that a lot of people in the entertainment industry need therapy.
The actor took to his verified Instagram page on Tuesday to air his views.
He wrote, “I personally and absolutely think a lot of us in the entertainment industry need therapy.
“There is so much denial, validation seeking, pressure, entitlement, undervaluing, perfectionism and confusion to say at least. How do you truly live when you carry all or any of these?”
Fans, friends and colleagues of the actor took to the comment section of a blog repost on Instagram to share their thoughts.
Actress Oyebade Adebimpe, popularly known as ’Mo Bimpe, said she agrees.
An Instagram user, @superwoman9ja, wrote, “When you don’t live your life to please anyone, then you are truly free. Everyone does experience the feeling of inferiority. However, a healthy feeling of inferiority is comparing yourself with your ideal self, not with others.”
Similarly, @Allyhi wer, “When everything is all about impressing and showing up, the pressure is too much.
“This therapy is for everyone because most people on social media no get joy. They have the same qualities,” @Leaddy_skincare stated.
Furthermore, @Karina_kientai, said, “I totally agree. It is not easy to lose one’s authenticity in the midst of fame, glitz, glamour, and the quest to make big bucks and live a fancy lifestyle. We live in a fast-paced world, but the entertainment industry is even faster-paced.”
