Middle Belt youths have supported the position of the Northern Governors’ Forum (NGF) on the zoning of 2023 Presidency and the issue of the Value Added Tax (VAT).
The Southern Governors Forum want the next president to be produced from the South and also fighting for the collection of Value Added Tax (VAT) by states.
Their interest were opposed by the northern counterparts at their meeting on Monday Kaduna.
However, the youths under the umbrella of Middle Belt Youth Forum on Unity and Democracy back the positions of their governors that North could not be force out of the race for 2023 Presidency.
The Forum established their position in a release signed by their coordinator, Rev. Joshua Maiwa’azi, after a meeting held in Abuja on Wednesday.
In the release, the Forum appealed to Plateau State Governor and Chairman of Northern Governors Forum, Simon Lalong, not to relent in promoting and projecting the region as one indivisible, united and formidable front.
