
Power supply has been restored to the Federal Ministry of Education barely one week after a fire incident at the ministry.
Reports say that all the offices were well lit while the lift was operational.
Staffers and visitors at the Phase 3 of the Federal Secretariat were evacuated on May 14, when smoke engulfed the building.
Dr Mohammed Bello, Director, Human Resources in the ministry had while conducting newsmen round the building, promised a speedy restoration of power to the building.
Bello told journalists then that repairs had commenced, adding that engineers and technicians were working to ascertain the cause with a view to preventing future occurrence.
He said that no files, documents or property was destroyed by the fire.
