The Milwaukee Bucks displayed an exhibition of three-point shooting to defeat the Miami Heat and take a 2-0 first-round play-off lead over last year’s NBA Finals runners-up.
The Bucks scored 22 out of 53, three-point attempts in the 132-98 win.
Giannis Antetokounmpo produced a 31-point, 13-rebound double-double while Bryn Forbes supplied 22 points off the bench and Jrue Holiday gave a team-high 15 assists as the Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Miami Heat
The Bucks used their 3-point shooting and first half of the season to dominate the first quarter of their matches with their 10 three-pointers.
“After game one I didn’t look at the stat sheet,” Antetokounmpo said.
“At the end of the day, a win is a win. All I care about is winning the game, putting my team-mates in a position to win a game.
“It feels good when guys are knocking down shots. We were seeing the ball go in; we were making stops, it felt good. We’ve got to stay locked in for game three,” he added.
