Nigerian actor, Odunlade Adekola has reacted to recent sex for roles accusation laid on him.
The actor in a shared video on September 9, disapproved the accusations, saying it was a slander aimed to soil his career.
Adekola said in the video, “As a celebrity, you don’t need to reply to everything they say about you, but there are some things that they’ll say and you need to clear it, let me clear this one.”
The actor called out three female colleagues who are also in the movie industry, Adenike Hamzah, Eniola Ajao, Taiwo Aromokun, and urged them to speak the truth if he has ever demanded sex for roles from them, having worked with him in the past.
“Let Nike bring proof and all those behind this, that I asked Nike for sex for role… You want to destroy the reputation that I’ve built for 25years in this industry just for food you want to put on your table,” Odunlade added.
Adekola also encouraged women who have gone through his film school or production company to contribute by dropping comments on the video.
