Deputy Governor of Osun State, Benedict Gboyega Alabi was seen moving with members of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) and Nigeria Bar Association(NBA) Osun State Chapter on Thursday.
At 11:20am, when members of the two unions were marching to the Osun Government Secretariat, the convoy of the Deputy Governor ran into the protesters, but the protesters refused to give way to the convoy comprising of five vehicles.
TOS News gathered that members of the two unions had started the protest for full implementation of financial autonomy of the judiciary at the High Court, Oke-Fia and marched to Customary Court through to Federal High Court opposite Osun State House of Assembly at Gbongan/Osogbo road before the incidence.
The protesters refused to give way, hence, forced the convoy to move with them.
The convoy, however, boycotted the protesters at the Petrol Station close to the State Government Secretariat, Abere when the vehicles entered through the first entrance of the filling station and exit through the second gate.
