Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has said the group ‘P-Square’, made up of himself and his twin brother, Paul, would sell out O2 Arena in London during their concert whether they sing new songs or not.
Mr P made this known via his verified Twitter page on Tuesday.
He wrote, “We don’t need to shut down O2. We are only going to close it down; with or without new songs! Legend is Legend.”
Earlier on, the singer shared a clip from P-Square’s Christmas show on his Twitter page as he asked his fans to decide which stadium they should use for the upcoming London concert.
He tweeted, “Team P-SQUARE, should we O2 or Wembley this sh*t? Comment below. O2 is calling The Kings of Stage. #Rehearsals #AboutToDisturbLondon #PsquareWorldTourLoading.”
He also shared the same post on his Instagram page where he also wrote, “London and the world. Are you ready for the King of Stage? @psqaureworld world tour loading.
“Don’t joke with the Kings of Stage. We don’t do concerts, we do crusades. With or without new songs!”
This came shortly after Davido concluded his successful London concert where he sold out the O2 Arena. It is also coming two months after the duo reunited after a five-year feud that led to the closeout of the ‘P-Square’ group.
