American actress Letitia Wright who plays Shuri in the Marvel film, Wakanda is recovering from an injury sustained on set.
Production will temporarily be stopped from November 20th, 2021 and resume in early 2022, enough that for lead star actor Letitia Wright to recover from the severe injury sustained on set.
The actress got injured in August 2021, while performing a stunt at an on-location shoot in Boston.
Letitia has since returned to London where she is reportedly recovering.
A representative of the actress wrote, “Letitia has been recovering in London since September from injuries sustained on the set of Black Panther 2 and is looking forward to returning to work early 2022,
“Letitia kindly asks that you keep her in your prayers.”
Black Panther 2 will feature great acts including Lupita Nyong’O, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett as they were in the original movie, ‘Black Panther’.
