Queen of the United Kingdom, Elizabeth II carried out her first official duty since her hospital stay at London’s King Edward VII private hospital where she was ordered by her doctors to rest.
She carried out two virtual audiences to welcome the new ambassadors to Britain from South Korea and Switzerland on Tuesday.
Queen Elizabeth stayed at the hospital overnight- her first overnight hospital stay for years, last Wednesday after going through ‘preliminary investigations’ for an unspecified but not COVID-19 related ailment.
The Royal officials said she was in good health which made her return to her Windsor Castle home the following day where she got back to carrying out light duties.
She was also forced to cancel a planned official trip to Northern Ireland last week after her medical team said she should rest for a few days.
