Some governors in the South West and prominent people on Saturday have joined governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State to pay last respect to the late publicity secretary of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin.
The funeral rites which commenced with lying in state is still ongoing at the playground of Origbo Grammar School, Moro, in Osun State.
Chairman, Nigeria Governors Forum, Dr. Kayode Fayemi; governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde; former governor of Ondo, Segun Mimiko; the President Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Wale Oke and a host of others are attending the obsequy.
TOS News reported that Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola on Friday sent Osun government delegation to receive the remains of activist which departed Lagos for Moro, his country home, in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun.
The delegation was led by the Chief of Staff to the governor, Dr. Charles Akinola. Members of the government delegation include Osun State Head of Service, Dr. Olowogboyega Oyebade, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ismail Omipidan; Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties, Lekan Badmus and Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Funke Egbemode.
