Market capitalization has lost 78bn to close at N20.28tn from N20.361tn which it achieved before it went on Easter break.
There was a loss of 0.39 % due to persistent bearish trend on Tuesday in the Nigerian stock market.
All-Share Index saw a loss of 150.13 points to close at 38,766.61 compared with 38,916.74 that was achieved before the break.
Report has it that the market loss was motivated by price depreciation in large and medium capitalized stocks, part of which are; BUA Cement, Aluminium Extrusion Industries, Guinness Nigeria, MRS Oil Nigeria and Guaranty Trust Bank.
MRS Oil was the lead in the losers’ chart when rated in percentage terms by 9.92% as it closed at N10.90 per share.
Next was Aluminium Extrusion Industries which had a decline of 9.88% to close at N7.30.
