A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu arrived Kano State on Sunday to launch the Office of Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission.
The former Governor of Lagos state extolled Governor Ganduje for intensifying war against corruption.
According to him, Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission is a welcome development and an encouraging effort from the Governor.
“In ensuring Nigeria becomes a member of a committed international community that frees us from the burden of corruption this and similar edifices could play an important role in that.
“To a lot of us looking forward to a prosperous, corruption-free Nigeria and Africa today is dedicated to that objective,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ganduje has appointed a human rights activist, Muhuyi Rmin-Gado, to chair the agency.
In 2018, two videos were released by the Editor-In-Chief of Daily Nigerian, Jaafar Jaafar, wherein the Governor was shown collecting bribes in dollars and stuffing the wads of money in his white Agbada, but he has repeatedly denied it.
