Tropical cyclone, Gati, has hit coastal parts of northern Somalia, killing two fishermen and injuring four others.
Privately-owned Radio Risala said the cyclone hit Hafun district, in Karkar region, where strong winds damaged some houses.
The radio said the cyclone has also cut communications and electricity in parts of Karkar as heavy rains continue.
Private Somali Broadcasting Corporation reports that the port city of Bosaso is receiving heavy rains accompanied by powerful winds, raising fears that the cyclone might make landfall there.
