As the tension in the All Progressives Congress reaches fever pitch, reports have it that National Leader of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo are conspicuously missing at the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting the ruling party.
According to Nigerian Pilot, also noticeably missing at the meeting was a former National Chairman of the party, Bisi Akande, who has come under fire recently for saying the emergence of Bukola Saraki as Senate President was a Northern conspiracy against the South West.
The meeting was held at the APC national headquarters in Abuja.
Although many had wondered if Tinubu was supposed to be at the meeting, the presence of Ogbonnaya Onu, Dr Niyi Adebayo, and Chris Ngige laid the talks to rest.
The report has not yet been independently verified.
