Bulaun Precious Gift
West Bromwich Albion Football Club had stunned Chelsea last week beating them 5-2 at Stamford Bridge, and continued with their previous form against Southampton on Monday night.
They did have the ball at the back of the net just four minutes into the game but the goal was ruled out for offside by the linesman.
Subsequently, Southampton conceded a penalty which was scored by Matheus Pereira at 32nd minute.
At the 35th minute, Mat Phillips scored the 2nd goal before Callum Robinson scored the 3rd at the 69th minute following up his two goals against Chelsea which was his first premier league goal.
Although Southampton dominated possession after the break, but they could not create many chances, with their four shots on target. Southampton saw a late penalty but it was saved by Sam Johnstone as the Saints suffered a hit to their confidence ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Leicester at Wembley.
